About the Journal

Reproductive Medicine (Central Asia) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal.

The Journal was established in 2009 by the Public Association “Independent Association of Reproductive Medicine” based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is published quarterly and has a circulation of 500 copies. The Journal is archived in the Kazakhstan National Electronic Library and has been indexed in the Kazakhstan National Сitation Base since 2015. The Journal has been registered with Crossref since 2020.

The Journal is included in List 1 of publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for publishing the primary outcomes of scientific activity (Order No. 302, dated February 28, 2025).

Aims and Scope: The Journal endeavors to disseminate the latest advancements in national and global scientific research in reproductive medicine, female health, male health, and children’s health.

 

The Journal accepts original research papers, clinical cases, and analytical reviews that address contemporary topics in reproductive medicine and children’s diseases, as well as male and female reproductive health, and the public management of reproductive health.

Our target audience includes reproductive specialists, gynecologists, andrologists, pediatricians, and doctors from other specialties interested in reproductive health issues.

The Journal is distributed in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

In 2024, the Rejection Rate was 24%, Days to First Editorial Decision – 45, and Days to Accept – 65.

The article processing charge (APC) for Volume 2’2025: 100,000 tenge for a manuscript of up to 20 pages (12 font with 1.5 spacing, including the title page and references) and 150,000 tenge for a manuscript of 20 pages or more.

 The APC is payable only after the manuscript has passed the review procedure and been accepted for publication. Prepayment of APC does not influence the editorial decision on publication.
